The Parent Attorney Conference provides training for attorneys who represent respondents in abuse, neglect, dependency, and termination of parental rights proceedings. Attorneys will learn how to more effectively represent clients with disabilities in these proceedings. Other sessions will include legislative updates, case law updates (and practical applications for parent attorneys), and self-care for attorneys working in this often traumatic field.
The program offers 6.25 hours of CLE credit, including one hour of mental health, subject to Bar approval.
