Almost 40 NC attorneys, defense SWs and law students attended the ABA’s 2024 National Conference on Parent Representation. Thanks to a grant from the NC Court Improvement Program, NC was able to send a large contingent to the conference, held in DC on April 11-12, 2024. The conference is the only national conference solely for family defenders, including attorneys, defense social workers and parent partners. Those from NC learned new skills and made or strengthened connections. Thank you, CIP!
