OPD Assistant Parent Defender hits milestone

October 5, 2025

Jacky Brammer was recently recognized by Chief Justice Paul Newby and AOC Director Ryan Boyce for his 5 years of service to the Judicial Branch. Jacky started at the Office of the Parent Defender in March 2019, and notes “Working at OPD has been an enriching experience with friendly and knowledgeable colleagues. It has shaped me into the attorney I am today.” Jacky primarily represents clients on appeal but has made a name for himself by providing well-researched and thoughtful case consultations, both individually and on OPD’s listservs. Congratulations Jacky!
